What are the characteristics and uses of synchronous motor gear grease?

2020-11-10 15:04:49

 The grease in the gears creates viscous frictional resistance as the gears run. At the same speed, the greater the viscosity and the greater the friction, the higher the temperature rise, which will actually reduce the working viscosity of the grease. Therefore, when the rotation speed is high, a grease with a lower base oil viscosity should be selected. The bearing load affects the thickness of the oil film formed. The greater the load, the smaller the thickness of the oil film. Therefore, a lubricant with a lower viscosity should be used for light loads; a higher viscosity should be used for heavy loads, and extreme pressure additives should be added. What are the characteristics and uses of synchronous motor gear grease?

  Features of synchronous motor gear grease:

  1. Good water resistance and rust resistance, good compatibility with most plastics and elastomers;

  2. Excellent adhesion performance and anti-oxidation performance, which can reduce noise for a long time;

  3. Good shear stability and colloidal stability, long service life.

  4. Excellent lubricating performance and viscosity-temperature performance, small torque at low temperature, no loss at high temperature;

  Application of synchronous motor gear grease:

  1. It is suitable for lubrication, noise reduction and vibration reduction of various plastic gears and shock absorbers.

  2. It is specially used for lubrication and noise reduction of synchronous motor gears in air conditioners, fans, electric heaters, glue machines, microwave ovens, barbecue ovens, lighting and other small household appliances;

  The service life of grease depends not only on the performance of the grease itself, but also on external conditions such as temperature, rotational speed, vibration, load, environment, etc. In one-time lubricated gears, the life of the grease used should be greater than the fatigue life of the gears. In gear applications without regreasing, the life of the grease used should be consistent with a major overhaul of the entire mechanism.
